This Weeks Matchups v ACE
With both KPR Div 2 Teams sitting bottom of the table, some much needed work needs to be done this week at training, and to prep ourselves, here is a little bit of analysis of our opponents.
ACE:
1st Grade: V Annerley Lost 4-1, v SSE Lost 3-1
Reserve Grade: V Annerley Won 3-1, v SSE Lost 4-0
From an outsiders point of view, SSE looks like an extremely tough opponenet, as does Annerley, so the strength and depth of ACE cannot be completely understood. Both teams have fared heavily in the yellow cards department in the first two games, so potentially getting under their skin from the outset is the way to rattle these guys, and then to contest 100% every challenge is the way to get them sent off.
From our own point of view, going the distance in matches is the biggest factor, the team that will invariably hang on the longest in the games will be the one that gets the 3 points at the end of the day.
